Beauty in the lap of Himalayas!

Wanderers know and have shared their beautiful experience how alluring India is!
Lets talk about one of those fantastic place in India with serene beauty in the lap of mountains!  Khajjiar, a small Hill Station in Chamba district , Himachal Pradesh, India! nicknamed as "mini Switzerland of India" . But I think it should not be linked with Switzerland.. who knows if this lovely place is much more beautiful than Switzerland! 😄

With a bunch of Indian rupee notes we.. a group of young lads planned for the trip to this heavenly place! From Jalandhar to Khajjiyar its 210 km approx , travelling time : 6-7 hours! we started in the midnight and after interchanging of  conveyance the first beauty of Himachal we saw was Dalhousie! 💓

The folks ,the sky ,the whole place was completely different from where I came .. it was early in the morning and we were waiting for the bus so we can reach our destination Khajjiar!  little beautiful souls were with us who were waiting for their school bus :) it made me remind of my school days when I was forced to wore my brother's long blazer which doesn't fit me at all! 😂 But thats how Indian mother are (adorable)! 💓

Finally our most awaited four wheeler large motor vehicle already carrying Bus arrived! Amal - who was leading our group confirmed that we need to run to be in the bus ,obviously we were not the only people who were waiting for the bus and we managed to be in the bus ! 

After 1 and a half hour in Bus puking all around the roads of Himachal we reached our destination!

I still reminisce when we  were in between our journey we all were drowsy but as soon as we reached our destination yes the above one! the young blood risen up again! We all got so delighted after looking at the view and I still remember my first pic was with my lads and the second was for one of the coolest guy on Earth : its Shahrukh Khan! 

 Bend a bit spread your arms and smile like you are the king of that good time! No one can be SRK but the place the wind in Khajjiar it was so welcoming that everyone can be like the happy King!

After refreshing ourselves we speedily explore the place , we went to the famous Khajjiar Lake

The lake got its name from Khajji Nag , the deity in temple nearby. Although the lake got shrunk over the years , people still go for a snap and just like others we also did! when we move forward we saw there were activities that none of us had done before : Zorb ball , parasailing , picture with white fluffy animal , agents for paragliding and guys with  DSLR !  we asked for the price of everything and ended up eating chickpeas that were roasted and spiced (chana jor garam) 😂 but we decided that we will be going for the Zorb ball after looking every place we can in that time . 

Then there was one of the finest wooden house with stone roof one could have ever made by his bare hands! for the very first time one man-made object was adding more beauty in the nature :

We all went to see who lives there and how can we be there inside.. but it was closed and there our mind pinged a message that if we are allowed to buy a place here in Khajjiar we will be for sure in future! 

but got to know from locals that it was a government place which is under Himachal Tourism and also some additional information that the summer camp of movie Kuch Kuch Hota hai was shot at this very location!

After clicking a picture of the finest house and saving in our heart we move forward and went to

the dense Deodhar forest which was full of pine trees and with some unknown plants blossoming up flowers ! the view was pleasant and we were enjoying that .

it was a beautiful noon and we didn't got any idea how that noon with a finger snap turned into an evening and we went to the chicken shop purchased raw food and went back to the place where we were before and there it is!! first experience of bonfire! in the forest with those lads whom I've just met a couple of  years ago and we all were sharing that delightful time! 

It was all done we cooked raw chicken had a drink with some light music and messing around we all forgot all our problems all other forthcoming that we were scared of a day before. Nature will always make you happy from inside and always the only antidote for all your gloomy mood.

No wonders Khajjiar is special in its own way and will always be. Everything here created by God is an example that the supreme power is one of the extraordinary artist! Whosoever visits here take life time memories just like I did which will be with me forever!
